Daniel Duarte is a photographic artist, commercial photographer, and educator based in Boston. His work explores the relationship between the present and the memories of place, family, and personal identity, set against the backdrop of the American landscape.
Distinct from his fine art practice, his commercial photography focuses on the game and culture of golf, specializing in live event coverage, branding campaigns, editorial storytelling, and golf lifestyle imagery.
His photographs have been exhibited nationally at galleries and institutions including the Barbara Krakow Gallery, Griffin Museum of Photography, Candela Gallery, and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. His work has also been published in The Massachusetts Golfer, SHOTS Magazine, Negative Feedback, Booooooom, and by Oranbeg Press.
He holds a BA in Studio Arts from Bowdoin College and an MFA in Photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
